In my life I have refined my personal philosophies to reflect in all that I do. From the time I was a child watching my mother paint moments of beauty to building my brokerage in Northern California I have been grooming myself to give back to others, and this website is a testament to that. To be able to be in service to giving others the knowledge I have collected has been my calling and driving motivator.
My wife and I have spent years collecting ideas on how one can easily "live off the grid". Having worked for nearly 30 years in real-estate in country towns, I have loved walking the unbroken trails of land, covered in wild Oak Trees only to stumble upon an untouched spring or creek. Getting "lost" on a piece of land is even better - the hidden treasures I find such as an abandoned rope swing or pulley system, vintage doors buried in a garden bed, the list goes on and on - I am one lucky man to see all this beauty.
I would have a difficult time declaring this, but my kids would say that I am also quite the handy-man, an inventor of many things that can be constructed simply with wood, creek water and clay. Which is why I wanted to create this website: to collect my musings, ideas and inspirations for you, the sustainable entrepreneur. I want to dedicate this website to those who wish for a more environmentally friendly, self-sustaining and enjoyable life; a simple life of greater freedom from the ‘system’ in which we are all encouraged to live.
