Where Beauty is Found

What’s it like to be so cute

That everyone just stares at you

Could it be you’re lonely still

For no one else see you as real

It seems wrong some are given more

And others less, what is that for

We all want what we don’t possess

Though what we have fits us the best

It seems unfair to those who think

That they were left out of the pink

What was God doing when He formed

These human suits our souls have worn

True beauty lays beneath the skin

And those who look find it within

For those who aren’t as cute outside

May be the suit where joy resides

Just knowing this helps those to heal

That swallowed once life’s bitter pill

And someday soon inside they’ll find

An inner joy and peace of mind

So whether you are short or tall

Plump or thin, big or small

Know that where your beauty lies

Is not where we look with our eyes
